12. Get Fully Charged for Winter Fishing
We have a lot more time in the dark during the winter and when it is daytime, it can be very dull. To make sure you can always see what you are doing and to prevent accidents, make sure to fully charge up and pack batteries for lighting you have such as head torches and bivvy lamps.
You can also charge and pack a reliable power pack or spare sets of batteries for all those bankside gizmos and gadgets, not just for lighting but for mobile phones and cameras, etc. Being organised and having these gadgets charged up and ready to go before a session will ensure one less thing to go wrong when out on the bankside.
Also, do not forget to charge yourself! Get a good sleep before a session so you can focus harder on your fishing tactics!
